Pain is Temporary...
It Doesn’t Last Forever
In Honor Of A Soldier
In fields of courage, he took his stand,
A soldier’s heart, a guiding hand.
For thirty-two years, he served with pride,
With honor and strength, a true hero inside.
A loving husband, steadfast and true,
In every challenge, his love only grew.
Devoted father, a beacon of light,
In his children’s eyes, the future shone bright.
A friend to many, always there to lend,
With a generous spirit, he’d give and defend.
A leader respected, his wisdom profound,
In unity and service, he always was found.
As we gather to honor the man we hold dear,
We celebrate memories, through laughter and tears.
Though he has departed, his legacy stays,
In the hearts of his loved ones, through all of our days.
Rest now, dear soldier, your duty is done,
In God’s loving arms, may you find peace with the Son.
In the stories we share, your love will endure,
the bonds that you forged forever secure.

SGM Johnson was larger than life. A consummate battle buddy, always ready to lend a hand and lift up others. His presence and personality will be missed. - COL Sam Allen
This is Ingram Big-Sarge. I appreciate the man you always were to me. We didn't have a lot of time together but I respected it. I respected you! In God's arm may you be.
Blessed to have known such a wonderful man, father and husband. Too soon gone but never forgotten my friend. May God hold you and continue to bless and hold up your family whom you loved so fully.

God, I thank you sharing your child with us, I met the Johnsons in Schweinfurt, Germany in 1998. Spent many days at their home, Jay would always answer the door with that kool-aid smile, always welcoming and fussing at me for eating up their food, particularly the caramel cake. LOL! I love you Liz and his 3 Ds! He loved you all so very much and he is very proud of you! Rest well Battle, Job well done!! Keep Smiling up there, Jay!
Love Always,
Tasha Hunter
